Karen Hansen, MSPT, CSCS

Karen has been practicing physical therapy for over 20 years and has been at Chugach Physical Therapy for over 10. She received her Bachelors degree in Human Biology from Northern Arizona University. She then received her MSPT in 1991 from the University of the Pacific. Post graduation, she did a 6 month residency in Vallejo, California for Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF). Karen became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. She is also a certified Golf Fitness Professional through the Titlist Performance Institute.

Karen’s treatment philosophy focuses on developing proper alignment through mobility, stability, and strength. She strives to create a positive environment for the success of the patient.
In her free time, Karen enjoys hiking, biking, skiing, golfing, and traveling.
